Everything you need for an Aquarium! (Beginner's series)
Not sure what happened to this upload yesterday as it decided to go blank and not show any video or sound. Youtube could not fix it either so here we are round two. I thought this would be a good place to start for a new fishkeeper, or maybe you are already an aquascaper wanting to make sure you have everything. This video builds a good foundation before I set up more aquariums on the channel. In this episode we go through everything you need to start up a successful community fish tank. We go through everything: filters, heaters, led lighting, tap safe etc. Once I start setting up new aquariums on the channel, any of you wanting to know the shopping list for a new fish tank can come back to this video and work out what you need.

How radioactive are bananas and other radioactive foods?
It is time to take a closer look at some foods that are often said to be radioactive: bananas and brazil nuts. How active are they in reality? And why would they even be radioactive in the first place? Can I find something way more active and still edible in a grocery store? Let's find out! Water rotation in two hemispheres and on the Equator
We have heard the theory: water going down the drain spins in different directions depending on which hemisphere you're in. But what if you are at the Equator and then move a few meters towards the Southern hemisphere, then move back towards the Northern hemisphere and try the same thing? Can a few meters make a difference? Watch this and let us know your thoughts! Why we say “OK”
How a cheesy joke from the 1830s became the most widely spoken word in the world. Subscribe to our channel! http://goo.gl/0bsAjO OK is thought to be the most widely recognized word on the planet. We use it to communicate with each other, as well as our technology. But it actually started out as a language fad in the 1830’s of abbreviating words incorrectly. Young intellectuals in Boston came up with several of these abbreviations, including “KC” for “knuff ced,” “OW” for “oll wright,” and KY for “know yuse.” But thanks to its appearance in Martin Van Buren’s 1840 presidential re-election campaign as the incumbents new nickname, Old Kinderhook, OK outlived its abbreviated comrades. Later, widespread use by early telegraph operators caused OK to go mainstream, and its original purpose as a neutral affirmative is still how we use it today. This Is Why Bananas Are Curved
Bananas: a great source of potassium, an excellent source of vitamins, and—as everyone knows—the most recognizable fruit on the planet. After all, you don't come across many fruits that look like crescent moons. (Or… Um… Something else.) Moreover, not every banana is the same. Some are more curved, some are less. What's the deal? -
